I love to write. I've spent months working on a story that I've recently submitted to Harlequin and am waiting on their response. I've been advised it can take up to three months for a response. Patience is definitely a virtue!
Whether you love writing poetry, fiction, mysteries, or children's books, don't give up on your dreams. It takes time and patience to get that article or story published.
I've learned that it's important to keep writing and to always review your work many times before you submit to a publisher. When you finish your story, never send it the same day that you finish it. Go back and review it a few days later, after your brain has cleared. It may sound very different.
Whether you are ten years old or fifty, it's never a bad time to let your creative imagination run wild. Write what you love and submit it to a publisher. If they reject it, keep writing and try again. Eventually you will get someone to publish your work.
Good luck and happy writing!
